I got a new microsoft wireless keyboard & mouse and Im returning it and now my old mouse & keyboard wont work.? - new microsoft mouse

I have and old Dell computer I bought a new wireless keyboard and mouse, an excellent job, but I found cheaper for the same $ 25 elsewhere, so of course I return. I went into the keyboard and mouse that came with the old computer and does not work get in touch.
